Chris Farias is a man about Steeltown with a passion for the arts. So when he was challenged to find out how Hamilton artists find inspiration in what most people still consider a gritty industrial city, he was all in.

In this short documentary, Farias takes viewers on a mini-tour of his city's art scene, including a visit to two of his favourite artists, Steve Mazza and Steph Seagram.

Directed by Roslyn Mugford and produced for CBC Arts by Stephanie Matteis, check out the video above to see how Hamilton can be a strange and beautiful muse.

Watch Exhibitionists Sundays at 4:30pm (5 NT) on CBC.
