When Moncton painter and mixed media artist Mathieu Francoeur was diagnosed with testicular cancer that had spread to his abdomen, he couldn't work. In a moment of "panicking financially," he said he "went to his garage and started painting" — and was "blown away" by the work he found himself creating.
