The Young and the Restless is celebrating its 50th year on the air this week.

One of the storylines that made this show so celebrated is the rivalry between characters Katherine Chancellor and Jill Foster Abbott. They've had choking fights at the courthouse, ruined weddings with cake fights, and smashed vases over each other's heads.

Katherine was played by the legendary Jeanne Cooper up until her death in 2013. Jess Walton started playing her rival, Jill Foster Abbott, in 1987.

Jess Walton is a two-time Daytime Emmy winner. She joined host Elamin Abdelmahmoud to talk about her favourite scene to film with Cooper.
