Stan Lee on Beyond Reason

The Story

Stan Lee of Marvel comics is a guest on CBC Television’s Beyond Reason.  A psychic panel which includes an astrologer, a psychic graphologist and a clairvoyant, endeavours to reveal the identity of hidden visitor Lee.  Host Paul Soles talks to Lee about the reader's preference for super heroes over heroes, and the creation of characters that are "bigger than life", because "we're all looking for somebody or something that's better than we are".  They also briefly discuss the character of Spider-Man, one of the more humanized super heroes, as a character readers can relate to.
