Robert Munsch on Love You Forever

The Story

Children's author Robert Munsch talks to Midday host Wendy Mesley about his 1986 book Love You Forever. It was recently ranked number one on the New York Times list of bestselling children's books. They talk about the origins of the book, which he says generates more letters than any of his other books combined. He describes the story as one which is different for parents and children - "the rocking is an allegory for the way parents feel toward their kids."
