Morris ‘Two-Gun’ Cohen in 1960

The Story

Morris Cohen is a mystery guest on this episode of CBC Television's Front Page Challenge.  Cohen was sent to live in the Canadian west as a teen and ended up a Chinese general and body guard to Dr. Sun Yat-sen.  He is questioned by the panel about his current "persona gratis" status in China, whether life in China is better today under the leader Mao Tse-tung, and the purpose of his current travels to China.  In an attempt to lighten the discussion, Gordon Sinclair asks about the other picturesque soldiers of fortune of his time, but Cohen refuses to accept that description -- "I am not a soldier of fortune.  I'm not so picturesque."
