Margaret Atwood on her book Dancing Girls

The Story

"Can I say something very rude?" A frustrated Margaret Atwood asks CBC's Hana Gartner. She suggests Gartner might prefer reading Harlequin Romances over the stories in Atwood's latest book Dancing Girls.  The two have been discussing the central themes in the book's shorts stories, and in the end have basically agreed to disagree.  When Gartner asks her about her personal life, she explains her wish to keep her personal life separate from her written work.
