Jerry Lewis brings his style of comedy to Tabloid in 1957

The Story

Running late after an appearance at Toronto's Imperial Theatre, Jerry Lewis greets the crew at the Tabloid studio with a joke.  In town to promote his film The Delicate Delinquent - which he produced and stars in - he sits down for a chat with host Joyce Davidson.  They talk about his infrequent television appearances, his desire to help solve the delinquency problem by disguising his message with fun, and his family.  To "break the motonony" of the seriousness of the discussion, he peppers the interview with some typical Lewis humour - "don't you want to talk funny?"
