Gil Adamson, poet

The Story


Gil Adamson's book of poems called Primitive is published in 1991. In December of that year, she speaks with The Arts Tonight host Shelagh Rogers about the origins of this collection and her early experiences writing. She also reads two of the poems: the title one, and Religious Carpool.

• Adamson's second published book of poems is titled Ashland (2003).

 

• Gil Adamson's first novel, The Outlander, was published in 2007. It won the ReLit Award, The Amazon.ca/Books in Canada First Novel Award, The Drummer General's Award, and the Hammett Award.
