The Story


According to this report, budgies are a tasty treat. When basted with paprika and roasted for 15 minutes, these delectable bite size birds can be eaten bones and all. Particularly on the first of April. CBC listeners would have had a hard time digesting this 1979 prank -- it was broadcast on The Food Show, which is dedicated to the exploration of the culinary world.
