Dan Cooper, Canadian comic book hero

Dan Cooper, a Canadian hero.jpg
We all know Superman watched over Metropolis, and Batman worked to clean up Gotham City.

Dan Cooper is a comic book superhero too. He's a military flying ace and a rocket ship pilot known to millions of European readers, as well as in Asia and the Middle East. But Dan Cooper remains virtually unknown in Canada, even though he's actually a Canadian character.

Tonight at 7pm on CBC TV's Absolutely Quebec series, the story of this long-lost Canadian comic book hero is told in the documentary "In Search of Dan Cooper." (See the full doc here, at the bottom of the page:)

Our host Sonali Karnick speaks with the director and producer of the doc, Guilhem Rondot and Roch Brunette.
