Pumpkin parade: second life for jack-o'-lanterns
It seems we start decorating for Halloween earlier and earlier each fall. Now families in Outremont will be extending the life of their jack-o'-lanterns one more day.
On November 1st, there will be a Pumpkin Parade. But it's as much about the environment as it is a family activity for Halloween.
Two of the organizers of the new Pumpkin Parade join Sonali Karnick in-studio.
Sandra Abi-Rashed is the person who came up with the idea. Claire-Isabelle Mauffette is one of the founders of Outremont en famille, which put it all together.
