We might not all be thrilled about the change in temperature. But along with cold weather, comes cold-weather food. And THAT is something to get excited about.

Our resident chef Derek Bocking is back to give us a couple of recipes to make this seasonal transition a little easier.

Derek's the sous-chef at the Montreal restaurant Ma Grosse Truie Cherie. And he writes a food blog called Derek's Kitchen.

Today he shows us how to make Cinnamon Chicken with Buttercup Squash -  and for a starter, Homemade Pickled Beet Salad with Goat Cheese and Candied Walnuts....
