Jehane Benoit: her life and her kitchen in Sutton

Jehanebenoit.gifJehane Benoit wrote the book on Canadian cuisine. She was one of Quebec's most renowned cooks, a pioneer her field and a bit of a free spirit in her personal life too!
Sutton in the Eastern Townships, where she lived the last third of her life, is celebrating her achievements with a special exhibition that starts this weekend. You can actually step into her re-created kitchen at the Sutton Museum of Communications and History. Kenneth Hill  participated in the creation of that exhibition. He married to Susan Macdonald-Hill, the granddaughter of Jehane Benoit and spoke with Sonali Karnick.
