Charles-Olivier Michaud: Indiana Jones to "Exil"

01_EXIL_Filmoption©2013_photo_by_Bertrand Calmeau.jpgWhen Charles-Olivier Michaud was 9, he saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. And that was it - he wanted to make movies.

The award-winning Quebec City director has now released his third movie. It's called Exil.

It's the story of a 12-year-old Haitian boy whose father, a journalist, is kidnapped. So the boy leaves Haiti for the United States to find his mother (whom he'd always thought was dead).

Charles-Olivier Michaud joins our summer host Pierre Landry in-studio to talk about Exil and travelling through movies.
