I love this show and listen to it often... today I just got the end of the man speaking about politicians and how they keep or get your attention. I think he said it was an ad from South Africa and would like to hear it all. Is it possible to get a download somewhere?

A comment on the toothpaste name: in Taiwan, at least, the name was changed from "Black Man" to "White Man" toothpaste. Strange how that makes it apparently less offensive, but I guess it's just another curiousity of language and culture.. like naming a soft drink "Pocari Sweat": mmmm, sweat.

Like all "Age of Persuasion" shows, this one is interesting, informative and entertaining.

I had always thought of advertising as predominantly a study in applied psychology. As it turns out, it is also applied sociology as well, and ends up being an interesting record of our culture.

Speaking of culture, advertising is also an interesting insight into other cultures. That would be a fascinating show - comparing advertising from around the world and how culture dictates what works in different countries.

LOVE the show...

Levels are SO off though...constantly adjusting the volume on the clips.
