Afghanada has returned, Season 6 will re-air.

Great news Afghanada fans! Due to popular demand, the show will be re-airing its 6th season. Tune in to CBC Radio One, Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. (3:30 p.m. NT) and 11 p.m. (11:30 p.m. NT). It will also air on Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 159, Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. ET.  Thursdays at 3:00 a.m. ET. Fridays at 3:30 a.m. and Sundays at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Dean and Chucky drop in unexpectedly on Coach in Prince Rupert, only to find her living with her husband Lee, whom she married on a whim in Las Vegas. Turns out Lee is a wonderful guy and Dean and Chucky are happy to be invited to the "real" wedding Coach's family is pressuring her to have, But as the family wedding date gets closer, Coach has second thoughts about her life with Lee.

Episode 101

Upon receiving a call for help from Dean, Chucky drives to Sudbury ON only to find himself caught in the trouble that was chasing Dean. The two decide to escape by driving cross-country to catch up with Coach in Prince Rupert BC,  who they assume is just as bored and unsettled as they are.

Episode 100

Chucky feels compelled to attend the funeral of a soldier he met through an anonymous web-chat site for veterans. When he attempts to give his condolences to the soldier's grieving widow, he gets pulled into solving a murder - mystery in the Alberta oil sands.

Episode 98

Dean is avoiding returning to his family in Sudbury, and takes up an offer from Sgt. Jakes and Lt. Petrovsky to join them on a sun and party-filled week in Mexico.  When he arrives in Guelph, he discovers that the offer has been a ruse:  Jakes, now clean and sober, and Petrovsky really intend to effect an intervention on him.

Episode 97

Sergeant Casper Jakes returns home to Guelph, still grieving for Hannah Crowe, and having become addicted to ativan as a means of softening the edge of his anxiety.  But his addiction is growing worse, underscored by alcohol dependancy.  And the effects are beginning to manifest themselves...from hallucinations to uncharacteristically erratic behaviour.  A chance phone call to Lt. Petrovksy results in a sudden, last ditch intervention to save Jakes from self-destruction.

Episode 96

Chucky Manson is still trying to settle into a comfortable niche in Sydney, all anchored by his deepening affection for Amanda.  But as she points out to him, he hasn't even begun to reintegrate into 'normal' life. With the help of a bucket list, Chcuky takes steps to prove to her that he can, and that they have a future at least as boyfriend and girlfriend, if not more.
