STACEY McGUNNIGLE is an award-winning comedian and writer who joined the main cast of This Hour Has 22 Minutes in its 29th season. She has performed in a number of festivals across North America, including Just For Laughs. She was named Best Female Improviser and Best Breakout Artist as an alumnus of The Second City, and most recently won Best Supporting Actress from the Austin Short Film Festival for the award winning short Must Kill Karl. Deadline hailed Stacey as “breakout star of pilot season” in the lead role of NBC’s Ellen More or Less, and her original comedy revue Tonight’s Cancelled was named one of the Top 10 Comedy Shows of the year by NOW Magazine. She has worked with CBC, MTV, and Corus Entertainment as a digital creator, and also co-hosts her podcast, The Regulars, which recently celebrated two million listens and was featured in Post City’s list of “top 10 Toronto comedy podcasts”. Other credits include the CBC/HBO Max series Detention Adventure, Private Eyes with Jason Priestley, and in the FreeForm Original TV movie No Sleep ‘Til Christmas.
