#WeAreTheChange: Vote for your favourite Canadian change-maker!
We Are Canada is a new CBC TV series launching this April that follows the amazing stories of young Canadian change-makers who are reshaping the country we live in.
In February, CBC, along with White Pine Pictures and Ryerson Univeristy, put out a call for the next generation of Canadian change-makers — Canadians aged 19–40 who were making a difference in their communities. And boy did you deliver. Out of the dozens of entries we received, a panel of judges narrowed them down to the top 10 and students from the Transmedia Zone at Ryerson University's Faculty of Communications and Design worked with them to create these short videos telling us about the change they're making.
Now it's your turn. Watch all 10 videos below, and vote for your favourite. The video with the most votes by April 23, 2017 at 11:55 p.m. ET will be selected as the grand prize winner and will have their story told in a professional video produced by White Pine Pictures, the creators of We Are Canada.
