The fireworks of New Year's may be long gone, but the Sesquicentennial celebrations are just getting started. People across the country are finding all sorts of ways to reflect on the past, celebrate and challenge the present, and imagine the future.
2017 is set to be filled with exciting musical events, community celebrations and art projects happening all over Canada. From National Canadian Film Day and community garden projects to lecture tours and monumental sailing trips, there are countless ways to get involved.
Here is a small taste — we had to whittle it down to 150 events! — of what's taking place this year.
