Ray Bradbury died on June 5, 2012, at the age of 91. He's often described as the writer most responsible for bringing modern science fiction (a term he disliked) into the literary mainstream. Eleanor Wachtel spoke with him in May of 1992. The Ray Bradbury portion of this show begins at 34:37; the show begins with an interview with Seamus Heaney.
