British woman finds her attacker on Facebook

A 20-year-old British woman who was attacked at a bar tracked down her assailant on Facebook after police proved to be of little help.
Jennifer Wilson was dancing in a Hertfordshire nightclub in March when a 22-year-old woman rammed a pint glass into her face, according to the Telegraph.
The apparently unprovoked attack left Wilson lying on the dance floor with a deep gash just below her left eye.
Ashleigh Holliman, who admitted earlier this month in court to attacking Wilson, fled the scene before bouncers could identify her.
Local police examined security footage taken at the nightclub, but told Wilson the images were too fuzzy.
Wilson, however, recognized one of Holliman's friends that night through Facebook. She waded through his friends' profile photos until she spotted her assailant.
After finding Holliman's home and work addresses, Wilson passed the information to police, who then arrested Holliman at the hair salon where she worked.
Holliman has been sentenced to 120 hours of community service.
Wilson, who has an inch-long facial scar from the ordeal, told a British newspaper earlier this week that she's happy with the outcome.
''In the end I had to do the police's job for them and track this girl down on Facebook."
