Aiming to lure frequent flyers on business, Air China has launched what it calls the first business travel card in the country's aviation industry.

It is introducing four versions of the Air China business travel card, which can be used to book flights, store credit, get free services only available to cardholders and collect frequent-flyer points. These include the Distinguished Travel Card, the Clear Travel Card, the Smooth Travel Card and the Easy Travel Card.

The cards carry a pre-loaded credit value of between 20,000 yuan ($3,170 Cdn) and 300,000 yuan ($47,575 Cdn).

Air China has also launched a travel card promotion, offering various incentives such as free travel, complimentary card upgrades and free miles, to the first customers who purchase its limited-edition cards. The promotion ends Dec. 31.
