Back in 1969, Jeff Tuthill saw an ad in the back of a comic book for a mail-order squirrel monkey. Now keep in mind, this was way before that tame little Ikea monkey came along, and what Jeff got when he sent away for his new pet turned out to be way more than he bargained for.

This week on WireTap, we get nostalgic and take a moment to reminisce about the good old days, back when pet monkeys and x-ray vision were just a mail-order away. [Original broadcast: Season 9].

Plus, Howard starts a piggy-back transportation service that will make you feel like a kid again, and our listeners share some of their fondest memories of youth.

Featuring Kirk Demarais, author of Mail-Order Mysteries, and music by Dan Griffin.

And remember when you were a kid and you had all day to capture fireflies and stare at clouds? Well, Jonathan and Gregor decided to recapture those good old days in WireTap's latest How To Video.
