Calling all animators! What does WireTap look like to you?
WireTap is launching its first-ever animation contest and we want you to enter!
It's easy: all you have to do is download one of three contest-approved mp3s, animate it in the style of your choice--stop-motion, hand-drawn, fancy schmancy computer graphics, you name it--then upload your video to YouTube, and you could win an iPad!
The contest opens today and closes on November 26, 2012. The WireTap Team will notify winners the following week. Feel free to submit as many entries as you like, just make sure to check out the full contest rules below for eligibility requirements and guidelines.

Must be Canadian resident to be eligible for prizes (but can be resident of anywhere to send us your best animations). Minors are eligible to enter with consent from a parent or legal guardian.

What can you do with your favourite audio clip above? For inspiration, check out what animators Stephen Evans and James Braithwaite created for a clip from our Never Say I Love You episode. But remember, we want to see WireTap through your eyes, so your WireTap characters don't need to look anything like the example below.

Please note that the above video is not part of the contest. Also note that adding in additional sound effects to your animation is permitted, but not required. Other than that, audio clips must be used as-is.
Team WireTap also tried animating one of the contest clips, but we're sure you can do better! Check out the video below to see how easy animation can be!

We need to know where to find your video--and we need some information about you!
