Third Coast Filmless Fest

WireTap Theme Song Contest

After 7 seasons of WireTap, we think it's about time we got our own theme song... and we'd like to enlist your help! So if you're feeling musically inclined, email us an mp3 of your very own original WireTap theme song.

The song itself can be as short or as long as you see fit, with whatever instruments and vocals you have at your disposal.  Lyrics or sampled audio from the show are a plus.

***Update***

Thanks for all the great submissions we've received so far! We're really enjoying them, although we just wanted to note that we're looking for something more Golden Girls than Law & Order. In other words, we're looking for a theme song written specifically for WireTap with lyrics inspired by the show, rather than something purely instrumental.

No official deadline. Just keep 'em coming!

We'll play the best submissions on air and send a signed WireTap poster to our favourites.

WireTap moves to an all new time slot this season: Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. on CBC Radio One. You can still listen on Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. or subscribe to the free podcast to listen at your convenience.
