A New Season

As Jon is too busy buying hootch, drinking hootch and/or crying naked in a public rest room after having drank too much hootch, I figured I'd pick up the slack and welcome you all to a new season of Wiretap.

Ah, starting a new season! Were he here respecting his listeners instead of struggling to get out of a tipped over shopping cart without spilling his Manhattan or God knows what, Jon might compare it to starting a brand new bottle of single malt scotch. But as he is not here, and is most probably throwing up in a mail box, allow me to compare it to a new school year:

The smell of brand new school supplies and tomorrow's monkey shines. Will the new teacher like me? What flavour gum will bullies massage into my hair? The butterflies in the stomach, too. And while Jon would probably drown those fluttery butterflies with a thermos full of alcool and lemonade, I choose to cherish them. Newness can sometimes be scary, but it's exciting, too!

Who knows what mischief I'll get up to? Who knows what schemes Gregor will hatch to help his ungrateful pal Jon? Will this be the season that Josh's voice finally cracks? Will Jon finally admit he's hit rock bottom and get the help he sorely needs? So many questions waiting to be answered... for you, dear listener!
