Nishiyuu: halfway to Chisasibi

The Nishiyuu Journey walkers have made it halfway to Chisasibi in one week. They want to walk the 1500 kilometres from Whapmagoostui to Ottawa to demonstrate the strength of Cree culture and unity among First Nations. Despite strong winds and temperatures around -40, the seven walkers were in high spirits when Matthew Mukash visited them by snowmobile on January 23rd.
