Air Creebec in a period of expansion
Air Creebec has a new hanger in Montreal. The Airline is in a period of expansion because of development in the north - mostly mining, forestry and Hydro-Québec. It also carries 60,000 passengers a year, about evenly divided between charters for companies like Goldcorp, Hydro-Québec and weekly flights. Creeco's Chairman Jack Blacksmith says companies who use charter planes are one of their most important clientel. Joshua Loon had a chance to speak with him at the Grand Opening of Air Creebec's new hanger at Trudeau International Airport.
