Sundance comes to Eyou Istchee
The Sundance is the predominant tribal ceremony of Great Plains Indians, although it is practised by numerous nations today as a prayer for life, world renewal and thanksgiving. In recent years Sundance has come to Eyou Istchee. Early in July, Whapmagoostui held their Sundance and Melissa Natachequan was allowed to be part of it.
