New book depicts Cree traditions
A new coffee table book is out in Eeyou Istchee. It's called Eeyou Istchee: Cree way of life, and it is filled with photographs and little stories that go along with the photos. It shows how Cree people practice their traditions during all four seasons. Vincent Georgekish interviewed Lucie Salt, who translated the book into Cree. But first he spoke with Louise Abbott, co-author of the book.
