Spinal cord research (8:03)
Mar 17: Quite a coup for the University of Calgary! A renowned researcher from Ottawa, Dr. Peter Stys, has packed up and moved out west to advance his work in spinal cord research. We found out more about what his work will entail in Alberta.

The  U of L and the Hershel Space Observatory (7:05)
Mar 10: The Hershel Space Observatory launches in April from French Guyana. On board - three scientific instruments with an Alberta connection. We talk to David Naylor, a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Lethbridge about his work that will soon be headed to space.

Soccer parents   (8:00)
Mar 03:  We look at parenting styles when it comes to sports. Is it more effective to be strict? To come down hard on your young athlete? Or do kids respond better when they're given more control and responsibility.
A recent study by a researcher at the University of Alberta looked at this very topic.
