The show that started it all: The Will to Die

For White Coat, Black Art the story of Nagui Morcos actually began in 2011. Nagui contacted us through Dying with Dignity Canada, a non-profit group that provides support to people contemplating the end of life. Nagui first came into our studio in April and recorded an interview with Brian, in which he talked about watching his father suffer through effects of the disease. He said he planned to end his own life before Huntington's robbed him of the ability to carry out the act on his own, as the law requires. That show won a Canadian Medical Association Media Award for health reporting.
