Stan and his band the Magpies are into the fourth year of doing fundraising concerts for non-profit community based organizations. For details on the concerts, e-mail wknd@cbc.ca with "magpies" in the subject line.

Here is the schedule so far.
  • March 26, 2011 - Halifax, St. James Church at the Armdale Rotary @ 7:30 p.m. Presented by Partners for Refugees.
  • April 10, 2010 - Pictou NS, Pictou Academy @ 7 p.m. Presented by the Ship Hector Foundation.
  • April 23, 2011 - Kentville NS, Centre Stage Theatre @ 8 p.m. Presented by Centre Stage.
  • May 1, 2011 - Sheet Harbour NS, Lion's Centre @ 3 p.m. Presented by the palliative care group at the local hospital.
  • May 8, 2011 - Bridgetown NS. The Legion @ 3 p.m. Presented by the Annapolis Valley branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
  • May 14, 2011 - Head of Chezzetcook, Fire Hall @ 7:30 p.m. Presented by the local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The shows are all benefit concerts with the proceeds going to the presenter.
