What with your desktop printer, or your telephone texting service, it might seem that letterpresses might be a thing of the past. Old technology, consigned to the trash heap of etc. But in reality, letterpresses, the hands-on technology of choosing your font, setting your type and turning a few cranks to create your business card, invitation, chapbook, poster or collection of recipes, is experiencing a renaissance.

One of the people leading the charge is Paul Moxon, a master printer from the USA who is an expert on the Vandercook press, a machine once considered passé.
