April 30- May 1 Leslie Vryenhoek

In her debut collection of poems, writer Leslie Vryenhoek explores the notion of ‘home’ or the gulf between one place and another. Many of the poems are autobiographical and trace her childhood travels across the gulf of the US border to the Canadian praries and then as an adult from the praries across the gulf…of St. Lawrence to Newfoundland.

I invited her into the studio and asked her about the structure of the collection.
