Unsettled & Cool Continues...Summer Weather On Route...Sept 1st

  • Happy Labour Day! Hope many of you are enjoying a holiday today! After a showery & cool weekend (with some sunny breaks too though!), the onshore & unsettled flow continues for Mon & Tue
  • This will bring a mix of sun and cloud today with afternoon temps slightly cooler than yesterday; around 18 degrees for YVR. Just a slight risk of showers...today is relatively dry though
  • An area of low pressure is approaching tonight for rounds of rain for the first half of Tuesday (North Shore t-storm possible too)
  • High pressure begins to build in Wed for clearer skies and by Thursday temps start to recover back to the 20s
  • At this point, looks like we keep the sun through to next weekend
  • Still an option to do a review of the summer weather (dry & warm) and a look at the Fall Outlook (dry & warm)

Ontario Storms
  • Chance of isolated t-storms through today across much of southern & central Ontario thanks to a muggy air mass...slight risk some of these may push severe limits

  • Also interesting... according to the UK Met Office, this is the first time in almost 70 years that there is no active tropical storms anywhere in the world on Sept 1st
