Wet Snow Next Couple of Days..Stormy Weekend Ahead...Dec 14th
Lots of sun today across metro Vancouver in the wake of the system that moved through last night. 18 mm at yrv last night with lots of reports of wet snow across Vancouver.
- The next low pressure system in an intense one..and is already approaching the North Coast today. Strong southerly winds will develop ahead of the system and peak at 80 to 100 km/h tonight over the northern and central coastal regions. These winds are expected to ease by early Saturday morning followed by gusty westerly winds. Wind Warnings are in place
- Parts of metro Vancouver could see wet snow tomorrow afternoon (a couple cm for higher elevations)...and cold enough for snow to metro Vancouver (lowest snow levels yet!) Sunday evening
- This next storm in line will arrive Sunday into Monday..also with big winds and rain and mountain snow
- Looks like systems will calm down starting Tuesday
