Live at 10:30 p.m. NT, 10 AT 9 ET, CT, MT and PT a live concert on three stages will rock the audience at home as well as the crowd on The Hill. The Guess Who, one of Canada's hottest rock groups, and Quebec's best selling artist, award-winning folk rocker Kevin Parent, headline the evening concert gala and promise to have the thousands on The Hill and those at home singing along with their hits. The hour-long special also features the spirited music and dance of Peterborough's powerhouse family, Leahy and the folk mondiale of La Bottine Souriante, who blend Celtic and Acadian sounds. The special will also be heard on CBC Radio One, hosted by the incomparable Shelagh Rogers, in the first shared event of the Canada Day gala. The evening special is produced by Lynn Harvey and directed by Ron Meraska.
