Age 21

Since the tender age of three, Leah has been exploring看the arts看thanks to her parent's encouragement. She has tried her hand at many different forms of artistic expression, from Irish dance to看piano, figure skating to guitar.看When she看discovered musical theatre in grade ten, there was no looking back! 看看Her first solo consisted of the line "We found some licorice root!" in Anne of Green Gables. Following that stunning debut (!) she participated in several community theatre productions in the Ottawa area such as Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), Bye, Bye Birdie (Kim) and Crazy For You (Tess) while also attending De La Salle High School for the Performing Arts. Leah is a self-professed adventure seeker and deeply grateful for her experiences, performing many roles in diverse shows around the globe. Among them, she has performed in church choirs, vaudeville shows and classical recitals in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Paris, Vienna, Winnipeg and more. Leah completed the Musical Theatre Program at Sheridan College. Her most memorable roles included that of 'Lizzie Curry' in 110 in the Shade as well as 'Miss Cratchitt' in Gypsy. Her favorite role, however, was that of 'Dot/Marie' from a student summer workshop presentation of Sunday in the Park with George. Leah is currently看teaching music to approximately 300 students in Honduras. In the fall she will continue her studies at Brown University, where she hopes to explore the看many faces of the arts and how they contribute to society, opening minds and creating links between every culture.
