Walk to the Rhythm

A dance party is happening in Yellowknife this weekend, but it's not at a house or a bar. A pack of roaming dancers will make their way down Franklin Avenue to Old Town in broad daylight.  Organizers Kate Little and Nick Dennahower explain.

Leadership in the Northwest Territories

Fort Smith's Western Arctic Leadership Program will cease to exist as of late June.

Former NWT Premier Stephen Kakfwi reflects on leadership - then and now - and how programs such as Western Arctic Leadership and Grandin College shaped young, aboriginal leaders.

"We came out during the time of social change in the south - civil rights movement, the American Indian Movement, Black Panther movement. Music was just starting to explode. Change was happening and swirling all around us."  Listen here:
