Don Worme is one of the great defenders of the Aboriginal Peoples in this country.

He was a driving force behind the Neil Stonechild Inquiry that looked into the so-called freezing death of a young Aboriginal man in Saskatoon. [this item has been changed to reflect that the inquiry examined only the Stonechild death, and no other alleged 'freezing deaths']

A modern day warrior of the courtroom, his licence plate reads WARYER, Don's involvement in the legal system comes from a place of deep pain.  As a child he watched the murder of his mother and sister.  On this episode of Trailbreakers, host Don Kelly takes us into the world of Aboriginal justice with one of Canada's top indigenous lawyers: Don Worme.
