Last year, we helped Ontario students get their ideas heard at the Ontario Legislature.
This year, we want to give students a voice on television.
Make a video about what kind of change would make your community a better place and we might broadcast it on CBC News at Six. | |

Making the Grade 2 is over!
We have a winner!
Congratulations to the staff and students at St. Marguerite D'Youville secondary school in Brampton. Their video "Nothing isn't always Nothing" was selected by a five-person jury at CBC as the winner of the Making the Grade 2 Student Video contest.
It was a very tough choice, as there were plenty of excellent videos submitted. You can also find all of those videos on YouTube.
Thanks to all the teachers and students who sent in their work!
We have now also reached an end to our original Making the Grade series. When the Ontario Legislature adjourned for the summer on June 5th, our three student private-member's bills joined dozens of others that failed to pass third reading. The legislature will start again with a blank slate of bills after the election in October, meaning the process of introducing and debating bills will start all over again from scratch.
For more information, or to share your thoughts on this or any future ideas for series, send me an email
.
