On April 2, 1973, CBC Toronto launched a new morning show for radio listeners.

Host Bruce Rogers described it this way:

"The idea was to transform mornings across the CBC from D.J. shows into programs reflecting their communities...

In Toronto it would be multicultural and would make an effort to report on issues and events important to Toronto's many neighbourhoods...

The show's title was "Tomorrow Is Here" but I never uttered those precious words on air."
