Hot Music for a Cold Month was the first event in the CBC Toronto Presents series.The evening, hosted at Lula Lounge, featured multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Quique Escamilla, and Latin Jazz performer Laura Fernandez.
The second event at Trane Studio, in celebration of Black History Month, featured performances by Ghanaian-Canadian singer songwriter Kae Sun and social activist and singer Amai Kuda.
The third and final event in the CBC Toronto Presents series, was in (early) celebration of International Women's Day. It's a double bill featuring performances by Tanika Charles and Treasa Levasseur.
