Listen

Earlier this week the Government of Canada announced that for the first time in its history they will be holding a nation-wide volunteer drive. Due to sweeping budget cuts made earlier this spring, the Government is looking to fill 20,000 positions across all departments with full-time volunteers. Heading this initiative is Bruce Madreen and earlier today Peter Oldring spoke with him to find out more.

We want to know what you think: Would you be interested in being a full-time volunteer for the government? If so, what department do you feel needs your help the most?
