It has been a good couple of years for
Newfoundland and Labrador, the once 'have-not' province has experienced a boom in employment and wealth, thanks to the
growing oil and gas industry, but with this prosperity comes change. Late last week,
Labrador City was all a buzz with the arrival of the famous long car known as the limousine. The car belongs to a new car
service and is the
first limousine to ever reside in the community. Host
Pat Kelly spoke with former town
Mayor Herb Thomas to get his reaction.
If you have words of congratulations for the people of Labrador post them to
our Facebook fan page or if you really want to - post them to
theirs.
