Earlier this week NASCAR
announced that they might be expanding into Canada.
has been aggressively pitching the province of British Columbia
to allow them put a track in Vancouver's Stanley Park but government officials are saying that NASCAR is going to have to make some alterations to their environmental policies
before they'll allow them to move north.
NASCAR said that they will implement many 'green' measures if they are allowed to build, such as serving food purchased at the track on "smaller Styrofoam plates."
Earlier today host Pat Kelly
spoke with the Head of Track Expansion, Jimmy Shepard
to learn more about their plans.
