"Stephen Avenue Mall is a near perfect promenade in the heart of Calgary's downtown," says Calgarian Robert Cress, "the only thing that would make it complete would be if The City of Calgary got rid of all of the clowns, buskers, and street performers... and the term 'performer' is even a stretch becuase what they do is hardly performance."

Later this month Mr. Cress and his group The Stephen Avenue Revitalization Commission are presenting their case to the city council. Earlier this week host Pat Kelly had the chance to interview Mr. Cress about why he feels this way.
