Alberta MP demands other provinces clear their federal spending with Alberta first

MP Tom Linkletter made a bold stand on Parliament Hill last week. After chaining himself to a flag pole outside the Centre Block in protest of inappropriate provincial spending nation-wide, he barged into question period to explain his actions. According to Mr. Linkletter, the other provinces are "throwing away our [Alberta's] money," and they should be more accountable to his province. The honourable member from Pincher Creek-East was put on forced sabbatical this week but Pat Kelly was able to reach him at his vacation home to learn more about his remarks.
